"Orange Week March in Ettelbruck This Year"

Luxembourg - November 24, 2023

Orange Week aims to raise public awareness regarding violence against women and girls to put an end to gender-based violence.
The campaign "Paint Your World Orange" will run from November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to December 10, International Human Rights Day.
The seventh edition of Orange Week, organized by Luxembourg's National Council of Women (CNFL) and supported by Zonta International's Luxembourg chapter, commenced on Tuesday evening at Mamer Palace. This year's campaign is themed "Luxembourg Says No to Violence Against Women."
One in every three women worldwide experiences physical or sexual violence. 71% of human trafficking victims globally are women and girls.
Around fifty events are organized in Luxembourg as part of this seventh edition of Orange Week, including a solidarity march scheduled for Saturday, November 25, starting at 11:00 AM in Ettelbruck.
